We Built This City at SohoCreate Festival!
Earlier this year we were approached by the organisers of SohoCreate festival - to participate in their incredible week-long celebration of all things creative in the heart of the capital. After reading about it last year we couldn't wait to get involved - and we're very pleased that we did! What an inspiring week it turned out to be... On Tuesday night we hosted an Open House event at our Carnaby Street store - inviting over 100 curious customers (old and new) through our doors for a night of creativity. With a 'Pimp my Pigeon' workshop hosted by our friends at Scout Editions, live portraits from Captain Smith Design, live tote bag printing, beers courtesy of Two Fingers Brewing plus talks from the WBTC team - the evening went off with a bang! Thanks to everyone who joined us. On Friday, WBTC founder Alice was invited to sit on a discussion panel entitled 'Start Up Life' where she was joined by fellow creative start up business leaders from Pizza Pilgrims, Pokit & The Dots. An insightful and jam-packed session to close the festival. As well as participating in the festival programme ourselves - WBTC team members also attended a number of sessions throughout the week - meeting the likes of inspirational business heavyweights Jo Malone MBE and Sir John Hegarty. If you missed out, be sure to sign up to the SohoCreate mailing list for next year's festival programme announcements - we can't wait to be involved again in 2017!
